£4200 in 7 hours!

I was asked to go to Pwllheli in deepest North Wales last month, to apply some clear UV blocking film to a warehouse building.

It was a messy job as I'm sure the windows hadn't been cleaned for 10 years or more. I I needed to use scaffold because the windows were about 10 feet up, but it wasn't a problem.

The journey took about 90 minutes on a Sunday morning, we chose this day as the business was closed to staff, making the risk assessment so much easier to complete!

Clear UV film is really simple to fit, but the downside is there's absolutely nothing to see, it really is that clear! I'm still not 100% sure why they wanted it, but that's what the customer wanted. I'd pre-cut the film from the measurements taken during my initial visit, so I just had to clean the windows, apply the film and trim it down to size. All done by 4pm, home by 6pm, and paid the very next day (by a UK household name, which people will tell you never happens). Well there are ways and I'll show you how it's done.

Definitely one of my most profitable days !!
